1. Click options->recording source. Select "Microphone" or the equivalent in the Recording Device list. Adjust the Recording Level if you are recording from the microphone for the first time. Select the appropriate quality in the Recording Quality list. 22,050Hz mono 16 bit is the recommended setting.

2. Click the File Button(Blue) to choose an audio file, or give a new audio file name. Audio Record Wizard will record sounds into this file directly.

3. Click the Record Button to begin recording sound from the mic.
